/ Got questions? Good.

Your questions. Straight answers.

No runaround, no jargon. Here's what Phoenix homeowners actually ask us — before, during, and after the install.

• Getting Started

Where do I even begin?

Do I need to buy my own devices first?

Nope. We source, spec, and supply everything. You tell us what you want your home to do — we figure out the hardware.

Is a smart home only for new builds?

Not at all. We retrofit existing homes every week. Some upgrades don't require a single hole in the wall.

How do I know which systems I actually need?

That's exactly what the free consultation is for. We ask about how you live, then build a plan around that — not a product list.

• Installation

What does the install actually look like?

How long does a typical install take?

A single-system install (say, lighting control) usually runs one to two days. Full-home builds are scoped project-by-project — we'll give you a clear timeline upfront.

Will your crew make a mess of my walls?

We treat your home like it's our own. We patch, clean up, and leave things better than we found them — every time.

Do I need to be home during the install?

For the walkthrough at the start and the handoff at the end, yes. Everything in between, we can handle while you're at work.

• Tech & Compatibility

Will it work with what I already own?

What about the stuff I already have — Sonos, Nest, Ring?

Probably yes. Most major brands integrate cleanly. We'll tell you upfront if something won't play nice — before it's ever on a proposal.

Does it still work if the internet goes down?

Core functions — lights, locks, shades — run locally and keep working. Remote access and voice control need internet, but your house won't go dark.

How do you handle Phoenix heat on outdoor equipment?

We've been spec'ing for 115°F summers for 15 years. We only recommend hardware rated for desert conditions — nothing that'll cook by August.

• Pricing

What does this actually cost?

Can you give me a ballpark price?

Single-system installs start in the low thousands. Whole-home builds vary widely by scope. Every project gets a detailed proposal — no surprise invoices.

Is there a fee for the consultation?

No. The initial consultation is free. We talk through your goals, walk your space if needed, and put together a proper proposal at no charge.

Do you offer payment plans or financing?

Yes — flexible payment options are available on qualifying projects. Ask us during the consultation and we'll walk you through what works for your budget.

• Ongoing Support

What happens after the install?

Who do I call if something stops working?

Us. The same team that installed it supports it. No third-party helpdesk, no ticket queue — you call, we pick up.

Do you offer service plans or warranties?

Yes. All installs carry a labor warranty, and we offer ongoing service plans for remote monitoring, updates, and priority response.

Can I add more systems down the road?

Absolutely. We design every install to grow with you — adding a system later is straightforward because the infrastructure was planned for it from day one.
